The CAN Bus Immobilizer is designed to enhance the security of your Seat, offering advanced protection against theft and unauthorized use. This system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle’s power supply and digital CAN buses, connecting to either one or two CAN buses to unlock a range of additional security features.
By operating through the CAN bus network, the immobilizer effectively blocks the engine without triggering error messages in the Engine Control Unit (ECU) or instrument cluster. This approach prevents the accumulation of error codes that could be detected by service providers, ensuring a discreet and effective security solution. Deactivating the immobilizer requires entering a specific code using the steering wheel buttons, such as the CRUISE CONTROL or BC button. The default PIN code is 112, and successful deactivation is confirmed by the flashing hazard lights on the instrument cluster.
